Sonscreens is a small but growing local company, serving the Holland/Zeeland area and West Michigan for 20 years.  We are looking for an experienced screen printer who can join our team right away.  Our new team member will be directly involved in setting up, printing, and cleaning up after completion of a variety of screen printing jobs (textiles and other items) on both manual and automatic presses.  Other tasks will include receiving and counting in blanks, packaging completed orders, and reclaiming screens for use in future orders.

Requirements Screen printing is a physical, sometimes fast-paced job and involves a lot of standing, reaching, pulling, and moving product through the process, including lifting boxes weighing up 60 pounds. Attention to detail and focus on the task at hand is expected. Applicants should be aware of these demands, but the atmosphere at Sonscreens is also one including lots of fun and comradery.
Notes Wages will be considered based on experience, and reviewed after 90 days. Overtime is calculated as more than 40 hours of in person work per week. After 90 days, a new team member is eligible for one week of paid vacation. After a year that increases to 2 weeks of paid vacation.

We have an immediate need for a flooring installer in any of these areas: Tile, Laminate, Wood, Carpet and/or Vinyl. This position will provide support to our Flooring department by installing jobs for the following customer types: Retail, Builder and Remodel/Restoration. 

Responsibilities

  • Arrive to job site on time and with a good attitude
  • Full installation of tile, laminate, wood, vinyl or carpet (experience in installing at least one of these flooring types is required)
  • Ability to complete repairs on flooring, when necessary
