Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

We are currently looking for a CNC Equipment Programmer to join our team in Holland, MI.  

 

As a CNC Equipment Programmer, you will:

Support the Holland Components Plant by programming and operating various pieces of Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) equipment to fabricate parts.  Develop expertise across a variety of sheet metal machinery including Trumpf, Salvagnini, LVD Laser Cutting, and Haas. Integrate current technology to develop and utilize Computer Aided Design (CAD)/Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) interface as applicable for CNC equipment programming. Partner with machine operators to debug machine programming. 

Requirements Do you have these required qualifications?
• Associate’s degree in drafting, design, or manufacturing technology AND 6 years of experience utilizing CAD and/or interpreting CNC programming
• If no associate's degree, 12 years of experience utilizing CAD and/or interpreting CNC programming is required
• Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
• Haworth work experience
• AutoCAD or Creo experience
• Experience working in sheet metal industry
• Experience with machine tooling
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities
• Strong focus on accuracy
