Operate the robotic work cell, including programming touch ups, adjustments, and any lean manufacturing processes required. The position includes training at the robotic manufacturer as well as the ability to expand and grow in knowledge and understanding of the programming language. Operator will learn how to set up and operate a variety of other machines, but Robot will be main focus.

Feed partition strips into tracks with moving flight bars.  Remove, inspect and pack or bundle assembled partitions from assembling machine where rapid machine pace requires a high degree of dexterity and instant recognition of quality variations. Ability to Hand Assemble partitions.

Assemble materials and related products to satisfactory quality and efficiency specifications using hand tools, power tools, and other related equipment. Ensure the consistent quality of work while observing all safety standards.

The Holland Board of Public Works is accepting resumes/applications for several summer help positions.  These positions are temporary, full-time jobs that will last throughout the summer months (typically until September).  Job duties include landscaping and general maintenance work, such as lawn mowing, trimming, painting, and cleaning. 

The Summer Help positions are located at the Holland BPW’s Holland Energy Park, Water Reclamation Facility, Water Treatment Plant, and Service Center. 

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a good driving record, the necessary skills to operate industrial lawn mowers and trimmers, small hand tools, and the ability to work in outdoor conditions. 

Third Coast Paddling is now hiring staff for our kayak and paddleboard rental site in Douglas, Michigan. Positions are available for students seeking summer-only work (part-time or full-time hours), but we also have hours available into fall and beyond for the right candidates.

Rental site staff members are responsible for daily rental operations and customer service, including checking customers in, processing sales, providing safety information, helping customers get in and out of the water, and preparing rental equipment.

This is a part-time, after school, flexible hours position. Working approximately 8-12 hours per week.

This person will assist with light housekeeping tasks in our Tool Rooms.

This person will assist our facilities maintenance team with:

• performing daily, weekly, and other scheduled facilities, mechanical, and custodial maintenance tasks
• facilities renovation projects as needed
• painting
• facilities cleaning in and around the plant and grounds

This individual will maintain and manage various production functions including:

• recording of production
• communicate with team on production issues
• scrap removal
• material handling 
• press and tool cleaning
• press operating
• check for quality of parts
• operation of forklift and overhead crane (we provide training)
• general housekeeping as needed

This position is a light-duty tow truck operator. The driver is dispatched to vehicles that need to be winched out of a ditch to a roll-over vehicle that needs to be uprighted and towed to a repair facility or a storage lot. The driver typically works 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and is on a rotation for after-hours on-call, and must be able to respond within 15 minutes for 911 calls.

Requirements

• Have a Chauffer's Driver’s License

• The ability to learn. This is a position we would like to train someone to do heavy duty towing after they are comfortable with the equipment
• In addition to working your normal shift, be willing to be a part of an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to all levels of technicians
